The functions of this office are primarily diplomatic with assistance rendered to Italian citizens with passport issues, registration with the Italian Census, (A.I.R.E.), authentications of signatures/photos, authentications of translations etc.

This office assists travelers and authenticates VISA Application Packets required to visit or move to Italy. Although this office is not equipped to issue the actual visas, all application packets must be authenticated here before they are sent to Chicago. Once the packets are authenticated, applicants are provided mailing instructions for the Italian Consulate in Chicago.

This office also provides information for Italians visiting Colorado, and facilitates Italian cultural events and exchanges, including the introduction of the Italian language in Colorado schools (CIAO), and assists numerous Italian-American organizations throughout the state of Colorado and Wyoming.

We also expect growth in direct imports from Italy into the state and eventually see the need of a regional chamber of commerce in the future.
